Still cold - after all these weeks.

He says it is hot and dry in Phuket.....2 weeks today and we will be on our way to to soak up a bit of it for ourselves.
It is 30 degrees warmer there than her at home.
Today it just scraped above 3 degrees and it has felt much colder - that icy wind from the east just will not go.
There have been a few snow flakes.
We have hardly been out at all.
But we did have appointments for hair cuts.
Rob, my hairdresser does such a good job - just a local guy. His prices are far below top salon levels.
He washes my hair, cuts it and blows it dry for £14.50.
A basic cut would be less - but to have all the works for that amount is good.
The result today was very pleasing.
I have been through a couple more boxes of things for selling at a car boot sale.
I look forward to displaying it all and selling lots.......but it will be another couple of months before we do it.
There will be more family socialising this evening.
We will join 2 of Bill's sisters and their husbands for a bottle of wine.
And we will actually be one of them tomorrow evening.
After that, what with all our holidays, it will be a while before we see them.
