Working in the Garden
I have walked in the sunshine and sat in the garden for much of the day.
Does that sound like a lazy day?
Well, I have actually worked.
The walk in the sunshine was to post a parcel at our local post office - about a mile round trip.
Once home I set a chair and table in the garden and from there cleared the dining room table.
There were things bought last weekend that needed sorting and also things I brought home from the shop.
All done.
There is a box of price tickets by my right hand - later I sat there sorting them and recycling them.....we tend to use them again and again.
That took quite a while - mainly because I was up and down checking on the progress of a tennis match from the French Open.
Andy Murray kept looking like he would lose, and then hauled himself back.
Talking of sport it appears that I have not been successful in my quest for Olympic tickets. I should have spent more time planning my approach rather than leave it all to the last day.
Ah well - Paralympics here we come!
And maybe onto Box Hill to see some cycling.
And who knows there might be some less popular sports which would still have tickets available.
