What a lovely day - Ford, Littlehampton and family.

It has been a lovely day in every way.
First let's be so happy that the warm sunshine has returned.
Life feels lively, yet relaxed when the sun shines.
And those two words describe this morning's car boot sale at Ford very well.
There were many stalls to browse around and people, both sellers and buyers seemed to have the time to chat today.
I bought some interesting bits.
Then Littlehampton exerted its magnetism on us yet again.
We got out of the car by the river and immediately met the couple that we have chatted to regularly in The George (Littlehampton Wetherspoons).
We were not heading there today.
We sat overlooking the river in The Balaton and enjoyed a relaxed breakfast.
We took a walk back along the river towards the beach and the sea and we bumped into Bill's sister, celebrating her birthday today with Antony and Fiona and little Caleb.
Caleb was not in good spirits - hopefully affected by nothing more than very sore gums as teeth at the back poke through.
But he did enjoy waving to the boats passing up and down the river - and being waved to by people on the boats.
Pity Bill looks like some strange stalker, determined to be in the picture!
Happy birthday to Pam.

They were on their way to The Balaton for lunch, whilst we headed to the pier.
The beach was crowded - a sunny half term holiday brought out many seaside visitors.
The atmosphere was good - everybody seemed so happy.

And this evening we have our nephew Simon here for the night. He is flying from Gatwick in the morning for a stag weekend (not his) in Kiev.
Stag nights are not what they were in Bill's day - a couple of drinks round at The Black Dog after work on the Friday evening before our wedding.

I have pictures taken at the car boot sale and in Littlehampton and will sort them out for sharing during tomorrow.

In the meantime there is more to read and see on Jamie's blog - this time he has written about Chumphon and his family in law who live there.
