Back to being a Grandma
This morning I was Paula - a bit idle, but enjoying an interesting life.
This evening I am Grandma!
Life as a grandma is just as interesting - but far less idle!
Ashley and Ekatarina arrived at 3 o'clock.
She becomes more grown up each time we are together.
They settled themselves in and we had a cup of tea.
We watched the last mountain stage of le Tour de France. It was brilliant as the 2 race leaders battled, man on man, up and up in the cloud covered mountain.
Probably the final race result was decided today.
This evening I have been phoning round to make sure that we can fit in seeing everybody we want to see and doing all the things we want to do.
Already we have a pretty full itinerary!
We have activities planned for every day next week - though that does include a Monday shop day for Bill and me.
We haven't yet planned anything for tomorrow. The weather forecast looks good.
It is possible that we will take Ecky to one of Crawley's adventure playgrounds.
Time for bed. We need to recharge our batteries - holidays are hard work!
