Briefly - London Day.

Many photographs in my camera - where they will stay for a while.
Seen the gentler side of London today.
We were tourists - but not in tourist land.
Found Regents Canal - near St Pancras.
Went to very old church - oldest in London, probably. Beautiful. An oasis in the middle of modern life.
Had tea and ice cream in the entrance section with lovely ladies.
On to Camden Market - so noisy and vibrant!
Reminded me of Thai markets.
Bought Young E a  dress because she was feeling dissatisfied with the outfit she had chosen for the day.
Food from market stall....3 of us had a Persian; sounds better than Iranian doesn't it?
It was very good.
Continued to wander for a while.
Found stall doing water melon shake - not quite the same as Thai, but very good.
Then took the tow path once again, to Regents Park.
Now that is a huge oasis of calm.
Enjoyed a good long sit down and some good ice cream.
Walked through the most beautiful rose garden - Queen Mary's garden.
Got up close with herons.
Reached Baker Street tube station.....busy trains.
Victoria Station and on the train back home.
