Not much of a day.
Not much of a day. My gut has caused imbalance and my head has ached and I felt nauseous.
No real reason for it - just a reminder that my insides are unstable......not that have much inside!
We went out to buy a few bits and so I added a new hair colouring kit in hopes of lightening up my too dark locks.
Too dark doesn't look good on an older person.
I recall Mary Hardwick arriving at the track with black hair instead of her usual grey and there was an awkward silence amongst the timekeepers.
It is hard to lighten hair - but I have taken the harsh edge off the colour and it does look a bit lighter again.
The elections have happened and votes have been counted.
Don't think I have the energy to comment - the lib dems have been ousted. I have dabbled with leanings towards this party for very many years but recall a comment by my friend Mogs "Liberals are just conservatives with a conscience". Well, they have been found out by the great British public..... they now seem to have no conscience - except Vince Cable, who was dumped.
Scotland seems to have abandoned the Labour Party....and as a Labour government depends on the many Scottish MPs that get elected to the UK parliament, Labour, too may have no more chance of government.
So we are left with endless conservative rule!
Unless you live in Brighton - which has gone green.
Nice picture today on the front of a tabloid newspaper which I perused in the supermarket.
Our new darling, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, married in pomp just a week ago was pushing a trolley round Waitrose in Menai Bridge.
I've been in there!
She obviously needed supplies to feed her working husband who has been out rescuing people on Mount Snowdon this week.
Good luck to them and may they enjoy this time not too cluttered by royal duties.
