7th August Isle of Wight report.

Tonight I have a selection of pictures which tell much of the story of our day on The Isle of Wight.

Some time next week I intend to put a selection of Bill's photos on the blog which give an impression of the beauties and points of interest that we embraced during the day.

Morning cofee and toasted tea cake.

Ice cream soda.

Godshill Church - taken by Ekatarina.

Inside the church.

Children's playground at Ventnor Botanic Gardens.

View from meadow at the gardens over the cliffs.

Agapanthus flower.

Strolling on the prom at Ventnor with Minghelli's ice creams.
When Ecky and I had one in the Godshill tea garden we decided these were ice cream heaven!

Looking along the Ventnor beach.

Homeward bound - Isle of Wight in the back ground.

Sailing into Portsmouth.
Today Bill and I have been in Pilgrims in Dorking. Quite a busy day.
Ashley and Ecky came with us and then caught the train back to Crawley.
Tomorrow we are going to Brighton.
We are really tired! Goodnight.
