A full day.
I must be brief - getting on for midnight.
The day has been very full.
The shop was busy. It is the day before Ardingly Antiques Fair and dealers from Europe were out and about for bargains.
This evening we have been to Bill's sister's. It was a little family gathering....Bill and 2 sisters and their husbands and a cousin who we have not seen for sometime.
The cousin did quite a bit of family history a long time ago, and like many of us keeps dabbling.
He seems certain that one of the distant Monks - son of a great great uncle - moved away from the area and became a photographer in Penrith.
But this was just a social occasion and he didn't have the details with him.
There will be some emailing in the next few days, I hope.
Now - bed.
