Buying at the car boot sale and a family reunion.

Hooray! Another full day.
We were up at 6 o'clock and ready to be on our way by seven - Bill having been out to wash the car a bit; he needed to get all the salt from the windows which had been blown from the sea yesterday.
The car boot sale was busy. I didn't buy a great deal, but I am pleased with a heavy bucket, a flat iron on a trivet and two metal jugs......enhance to attract Dorking customers because they have been barge art painted.
As we were leaving I was delighted by the sight of another's purchase.

The old Austin was the chief delight.
But I loved seeing it adorned by the carcase of a grandfather clock.

The Austin driver was also ready to leave.
I am sure he headed straight for home or his shop.

We went to Littlehampton for breakfast.
Then we took a short walk out to the sea. It was still very windy - but nothing like yesterday.
The tide was far out - the white horses were even farther out.
We were joined on our walk by Poppy and her owners.
We have met these lovely people and their beautiful dog three times now.

We came home for a brief quiet time and then we were out again.
Our niece - daughter of one of Bill's sisters - emigrated to Australia 6 years ago with her husband and two very small boys.
They have come back for a holiday and are trying to catch up with as many people as possible and to see the sights and attack their favourite GB shops.
They arranged that people could come along and say "Hello" at a local pub.
It was lovely to see them - my, how the boys have grown!
They make a great family.
We also met Lisa's parents - that's Bill's sister and her ex husband.
It was a very friendly table that we sat at - with the sister, the ex husband, the  2nd husband's daughter all happy together.
I was busy taking pictures, of course.

That's our niece with her mother and Bill (her uncle).

And now she is with her father.

I am pleased that we will meet up with them again before they go home.
