Isle of Wight.

Gaps in blogging once again!
We have filled the days and by the time bed time came round, all I wanted to do was crawl under the duvet.

There are photographs of Brighton and many more of the Isle of Wight.
I really must make Picassa albums, which I can direct you to - but I always think of that late in the evening and don't work out what I should be doing.

Yesterday was a truly wonderful day - and my body coped.
Bill's sister, Pam came with us and later in the day we called on Bill's sister, Ros. We were so pleased that our niece Emma and her family were there too.
Here is a small selection of photos.

We leave Potsmouth.

First view of The Needles.

The Alum Bay cliffs are fascinating.

We walked down the steps (nearly 200 of them) to the beach.
We then felt we could reward ourselves with the boat trip out to The Needles.

From Alum Bay we drove along the beautiful south coast road.

And then to Ventnor for a very late lunch at The Spyglass.

My sea food curry - packed with mussels, prawns, calamari etc.

The mayonnaise packet is there to secure the poppadoms from blowing away in the breeze.

A few family pictures for other family people to see.

Great nephew Jack.
His brother, Harry, who has autism couldn't cope with the crowd or the woman with the camera.

Then - back to the jetty for the 8 o'clock boat.

Goodnight! End of a lovely day.
