Dull day today and Wiltshire day two weeks ago.

Today I combine this rather dull day with the busy day of 2 weeks ago, when we went to Wiltshire.

It has rained hard at different times during the day and I don't think sunshine has peeped through the clouds at all.

We had got to bed pretty early last night and it was 10 hours later that we roused ourselves.
And we didn't get active for quite some time as we breakfasted in front of day time TV.
Bill, then put the bedrooms to rights - though it doesn't feel so right to have them not being used. We have 9 boxes of things to take to North Wales in about two and a half months time.
I started the fairly mammoth task of sorting photos.
I have not yet got very far.
But at least I have some photos to share of our Wiltshire day.
At the moment I am still going through Ecky's photos of the day after - at the Horniman Museum and with Meg and Charlie in Crystal Palace Park.
She must have taken over 100 photos that day!
I will only reject the few that are badly out of focus or missed the target, for it is not for me to decide about another person's photos.
This afternoon I dealt with a few EBay sales. There will be parcels to wrap and post in the morning.

The first of the Wiltshire photos are Ecky's - she portrayed things that took her fancy as we walked into the village through the church yard and into the museum.
My photos tend to show my beautiful grand daughter!

These two cottages are in the lane that leads up the hill to Roger and Sue's house.

Grandma admires Sue's display. Sue made heads for the dummies she has used to display old costumes worn by long ago inhabitants of the village.

We loved the beautiful shawl.

This is a self portrait.

Churchyard graves.

The much photographed little angel.

Lovely red berries hanging over the angel.

A butterfly on a grave stone

The Green Dragon pub.
There is an elegant green dragon sitting above the entrance - but he was obscured by the floral displays.
Now my pictures.....

Ecky plays with Willow.

Running in the garden.

By the little brook on the way to the village with a weeping willow overhanging. Ecky loves weeping willows.

Ecky dressed as a Victorian girl - with mother and grandmother at each side.
This picture appeared on the museum blog.

The last three pictures were hurriedly done two weeks ago and have appeared before - but they are part of the story of the day.
Isn't she lovely?
