Fruit is bad for the health
Exhausted!
What is going on?
I have blamed the clouds for it earlier in the day - don't like grey skies.
But this afternoon the clouds rolled away leaving blue skies and heat - just as I like it.
This evening I was bordering on feeling not too well. Ah! Have I felt like this before? It has felt rather like the beginnings of a potassium overdose - and who has stuffed herself this week on fruit that was so sweet and tasty and too cheap to resist?
These fruits were all on the forbidden list when things were really bad.
I guess that these days some fresh fruit can be tolerated - but not an excess.
Moderation is the key word.
And for the next few days extreme care must be taken.
The day began with medical appointments.
I had my regular B12 injection - maybe the levels of that had dipped too low.
Bill was asked to go in for a blood pressure reading.
Later in the day we were at the hospital for Bill to have a blood test.
This morning it was our turn to receive a BT man.
He had no idea that others had already trod this path - no idea of what was decided yesterday.
But he came to the same conclusion.....the pavement will have to be dug up.
We await further developments.
Meanwhile Bill has a regular correspondence going with Tiscali staff. We are now discussing compensation for loss of service.
But that can't be sorted until normal service is restored.
This afternoon we went to Dorking.
Bill already knew that he had sold a lot to a French dealer. We felt it best to collect the money. This would give Bill a chance to put items on the empty shelf in his cabinet.
I have also sold quite a bit in the days since Monday.
We had a curry at Horley Wetherspoons on the way home - actually not much potassium in that. Rice is always good for me.
I got back home and zonked out on the sofa - half watching Emmerdale and Le Tour de France.
Good night!
