Ford car boot sale.
We went to Ford this morning - the forecast said that the nearer the coast we went, the less would be the chance of showers.
It rained three times!
I didn't buy very much and one of the items is probably a fake.
I was suspicious of the vase, which I liked, as soon as I read the markings on the bottom.
It said Troika England. Troika is very much flavour of the time and fetches, sometimes, several hundred pounds.
If it looks like a Troika, that maybe ought to be good enough.
Troika, by the way, is hand made studio pottery from Cornwall.
We enjoyed our breakfast in The Balaton. Then had a walk along the river and out to the sea.
Well, I walked out to the sea - walked and walked, for the tide was far out.
I will have a few pictures tomorrow. Bill felt the chilly wind and his back, and stayed nearer the top of the beach.
This afternoon Bill saw the rheumatology consultant. The doctor drained his knee once again. But just now Bill is suffering more pain in his back - which is a structural problem rather than a rheumatology problem.
We have to accept that the structure of Bill's back is not going to improve.
Pain killers are the only answer just now.
Anybody got a magic wand I could borrow?
I now have some Ford pictures - taken at last week's boot sale, when it was very warm and sunny.

Were those markings right?

I have now read that forgeries are out there.
It is strange really that a vase, which I like, can either be worth hundreds or perhaps a tenner. If it looks like a Troika, that maybe ought to be good enough.

1950's style glass clowns. Maybe modern.
I hope this lovely lady does actually find the picture. I didn't know that I would be waiting a week before posting.
Another hat.
This one needs no hat! I am sure Elvis didn't have tattoos like that.
Dogs! Dog's leads...... Mr Talker.
Something for me to get my trolley
tangled in!
We saw this swan jug in the sunshine Those shiny boots!
this morning too. My feet hurt just thinking about them.
There are several food stalls at Ford.
Many use them as meeting places and for socialising - and eating and drinking.
We prefer to load up the car and drive to Littlehampton for our breakfast.
And tomorrow - guess what? Yes, Littlehampton pictures.
