Lovely day - things happening.
It has been a good day - a bit warmer and with some sunshine.
It has been a day when Floorman the Second came.
Heaven only knows what happened to Mick!
Today Glenn came and knew what he was talking about. He will do the work at the end of the second week in June. Hooray! We will eventually get a floor that looks good in the kitchen/dining room/study.
It has been a day for a good sale on EBay.
When Jenny was clearing out the loft she came across a sad violin. It might once have been mine.
It is lacking strings, a bridge and a few other bits. The bow lacks hair.
Jenny was prepared to take it to the dump.
I said I would see if anybody wanted it.
Somebody did - several people in various parts of the world did.
It sold today for £56.41.
And the goat strutted proudly with his magnificent horns.
Do enlarge this one - and enjoy, if that is the right word, the weird and wonderful texture of the turkey's neck and head.
Prize winning cattle. Lets hope they win more rosettes at the South of England Show in a couple of weeks.

I guess it doesn't look too bad really. The body of the instrument is not damaged. It should not take much for an enthusiast to turn it back into something beautiful.
The buyer has an oriental sounding name, but lives in Morden, Surrey.
We have offered to deliver it on Tuesday for the postage charge money, which would save the awkward task of wrapping it.
We have yet to hear from the buyer about this.
It has been a day which invited us to get out and walk and enjoy Tilgate Park.
The large lake is partly drained and a lot of engineering and clearing work is being done. A new damn will be constructed.
So, the lake is not photogenic just now.
But the flowers and trees are wonderful - and so are the animals, mostly to be seen in the nature centre.
And I have to blow my own trumpet - most of the photos today are mine, and Bill uttered the words that they are better than his on this occasion.
I wanted pictures of all of them!
A little girl, aged about three, got the giggles and I caught them from her.
"Just like Daddy" she said!
And the goat strutted proudly with his magnificent horns.

It looks like its innards are on the outside!

This has been the evening of the postcard club.
The talk was well, quaint in the manner of presentation. But it has inspired us to take another look at Rustington, which we often drive through on the way home from Littlehampton.
We now know where the conservation area is.
Maybe tomorrow.
We are going to Ford and will stop in Littlehampton for breakfast and then we will explore Rustington.
