The May temperatures continue as before.

I could just write "ditto."

We have been at the track. It has felt very cold - but at least there was no rain.
Originally there were even fewer timekeepers expected for today than we had yesterday - that is why Bill and I decided we should go. In the event there were 12 timekeepers.
I enjoyed working with Graham and chatting with those around me.

At one point I just walked off the steps - an official should not do that, but I felt there was enough cover to get away with it.
The reason was I found my half sister Ruth by the track with Felix and Otto.
I hadn't seen them since before they went to Madagscar.
The boys were most interested in the little tractor that Mandy, the ground staff person uses to convey things like piles of hurdles around.
Mandy let them sit on the seat and play at pretending to drive the tractor.

We are exhausted tonight with the glowing faces that being out for hours in the cold can give.
I have had to deal with some EBay work this evening.
It is now time for a quick cuppa.
I hope it will be a better night. I don't want a repeat of last night when I was showering at 2.00am and Bill was changing sheets on the bed.
Bother to leaking bags!
Fortunately it happens rarely.

Tomorrow it is a shop day. It seems ages since we were there. I am looking forward to it.

Right - kettle boils!
Have a good week.
