1st March Part 4 Dinner at Dairy Hut.
We all went to Dairy Hut for dinner in the evening. Goodness knows why they called it Dairy Hut, for it makes me think of a 1950s Milk Bar - and it comes with a big model cow outside!
It is, in fact, a pleasant restaurant, close to the hospital in Phuket City. It has large sloping windows which have a constant torrent of water cascading down the outside. In Thailand this is attractive and helps to keep the place cool - at home we just grimace and call it 'heavy rain'!
I had my camera and just took a few snap shots before our meals arrived.

Oh what a happy memory - the pineapple drink. It is crushed pineapple and crushed ice, frothed up a bit. After drinking through a straw I needed a long spoon to get to the fruity foam at the bottom.
After our meal I went to the children's playground with Jessica for a while. It was nice out there - a terrace with lots of diners at tables and a good singer and his guitar entertaining everybody.
