Saturday - Ashley in Crawley for the week.
Yep! It was raining at 6 o'clock. It rained for several hours.
Bill and I popped out to get some eggs and a few bits from Tulleys Farm Shop.
Ashley arrived at quarter past two.
We haven't been out anywhere.
I made a bread pudding and a roast dinner.
I watched football results with particular interest. If Crawley could just win.....against Accrington Stanley.
The minutes passed - rivals were winning their matches. Rivals who could snatch promotion from Crawley.
After an hour Crawley scored the only goal of the match.
My town football team continue to climb.....so recently floundering amongst the non league clubs and now to be a member of Division 1 of the national league.
In case you don't know - Division 1 is what was once called Division 3; the higher 2 leagues having names not numbers.
We had our dinner and watched The Voice.
And now memories of 1977 are on TV - Ashley was only 6.
We are assuming that it will be dry in the morning - though no boot sales will be held in fields.
We will go to Dorking and Horley to see what we can find at the boot sales there.
