A Stay at home Saturday.
The temperature crept up; icicles dripped and disappeared, trees lost their snow covering and the rain fell.
The snow on the ground has been reduced considerably - and now has a glossy crystalline surface.
It wasn't a day to lure me out.
Bill wanted to see if the car was alright - we have left it all alone in the cold for 3 whole days!
He reported that it was quite icy and slippy up our little road.
He took parcels to the post office.
So this has been a day or relaxation and hibernation.
I described a few more things for E Bay. Perhaps somebody might be glad of an interesting book to give at the Christmas tide.
This evening, for the first time my brother made contact with us using skype and a camera.
Here is a picture of him and the cat, Willow that I took this evening.
Roger is modelling his new vari focal glasses.
The temperature will be above freezing again tomorrow - though not by much. But I guess it will not really be worth our while going to a boot sale - not after the week we have all had.
