9th July. A Guided Tour Round Our Garage!
A little while ago, Mam asked "Is your garage so very full up?"
I could have simply replied "Yes".
But a few pictures tell the truth more clearly.
This is the back of our house. We live at the end of a cul de sac and this is the road access to the garage and back gate.
The big up and over door cannot now be opened - Bill has made sure of that, and the car lives outside the garage door.
There is also a door to the garage from the back garden. This is what we see as we walk in, wondering just where we might be able to store any more things.
Just inside the door the shelves are filled with things ready to be taken to the half price sale in the shop.
When I finally get these shelves empty I can move things down from the far end of the garage.
These shelves have things that are ready to go to the area I am keeping in the shop.
But the bottom 2 shelves still have lots of things that I must deal with.
There are 2 boxes close by full of books that will be for EBay one day.
Here are just some of the old jigsaws that are waiting to be checked.
There are many more than this.
One day I might manage to have them ready to sell.
I could have simply replied "Yes".

Opposite the jigsaws are stacks of boxes of padded envelopes for posting EBay items. There is also card to protect the items in the post.
Bill's bike, never used now, leans against these boxes.
This is Bill's work area, with his tools and oils and stuff.
Here is a toy waiting for repair work.
We have a cuckoo clock hanging in the garage because there is no room for any more cuckoo clocks indoors. One day we will decide what might happen to this one.
This is the view from inside the garage, through the door and across the back garden to the back door of the house.
There is old carpet on the floor and mats at the door.
