6th July Summer weather in London this week.

I have burbled on to family and friends about this crazy summer weather we are enduring.
Here are some pictures which tell of one afternoon this week.
They are not my pictures of course, but I have no qualms about putting them here because this is a private blog and all of the pictures are freely available on websites.
In Crawley we did not experience anything like the storm shown in these pictures.
And of course there are still people in the North of England suffering from floods - some still with homes under water. It will take a very long time for many of them to get back to normal.

The storm approaches London.

The storm begins.
A Fulham street during the storm.

Battersea Park after the storm. It is just the leaves on the trees that tell us that it is a not a winter scene and it is not snow covering the ground, but hail.

The hails stones formed sheets of ice floating on the flash floods in Brixton.

A street in Clapham in July. I wonder what Matt, Suzie, Joel and Anna could report about the storm for they live in a similar Clapham street.
Megan and Tom also live in Clapham.
And still we are promised more unsettled weather.
