4th March Part 2 James Bond Island.
Our little boat is approaching James Bond Island. The jetty is to the right of the huge rock on the right. Behind the central rock lies the little beach. The bigger tourist boats tie up around the other side.
In our slow long tail boat it took about an hour to reach the island.
One day I should watch The man with the Golden Gun and see the island. I did see it recently in Bridget Jones 2 - when she went to Thailand.
I didn't buy anything - honest!

There is a narrow path from the jetty along which you have to climb up and down - and wait whilst a coach load need to pass the other way.
Of course our photos (some of these are Jamie's) have avoided the crowds on the whole and you would think that it is a tranquil scene.
Jessica enjoys running on the little beach and a cooling paddle in the sea.
I didn't buy anything - honest!
Though I have to admit that on our last visit, 5 year ago, I did buy a couple of necklaces.

We did succumb to the temptation of bottles of water.
You will see that Bear goes everywhere with John.
Jamie and the children scarmbled up to explore a gaping cave above the beach.
The steep sided rock faces look like the mouth of a cave facing out to sea.
A little long tail boat, like ours, chugs in towards the jetty.
