25th February. Part 3. The Beach Bar.
The beach bar can be found towards the southern tip of Phuket at Cape Panwa.
You turn off from the road down a steep mud track to the beach.
The food is good and on Sundays a singer serenades the diners with versions of folk style pop songs. The singer's young son now has a guitar and has changed his ambition from being Andy Cole, playing for Manchester United to becoming a pop star!
This beach and this cafe are perfect and are in a world far removed from the brash resort of Patong.
