Wet day in London and in monkland

I have just been looking at a web site with Ekatarina.
We decided, that maybe it would have been better to have lived in North Scotland during July.
The web site shows that the weather has been just as bad as we have all perceived it to be.

And August has started in very much the same way. It has been very gloomy for many of us - the English cricket team must have felt very frustrated that they couldn't continue today with hitting the Australian bowlers round the ground.
The rain was just dismal.

Ashley and Ecky have been to London for an enjoyable and long day - with lots of walking.
Though there was sitting down at the Junior Prom concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
They have also been to the Victoria and Albert museum.
Tomorrow Ecky can deal with some photographs and we will put together a blog.

Bill and I went to the car boot sale at Edenbridge - and wished we hadn't bothered. Well, of course - one has to bother or there would be anxiety imagining all the things we might be missing.
But we wouldn't have been missing anything.
I bought 2 items for £3. Bill bought two picture frames for 20p each because we want the glass for another frame - but they were the wrong size.
I bought a T shirt for Ashley and a couple of items of clothing for Ecky.

I have dealt with books that sold on EBay - 4 are already paid for.
Just now I have nothing else offered for sale. I will make sure I don't have to deal with any until after A & E have left us.

If the weather is fine - as fine as things get around here, then we will go to the Pease Pottage boot sale in the morning.
Bill is involved in an athletics meeting. I pulled out - shame really, for it would have been my one chance to work with the electric timing this year.
We might go to Edenbridge tomorrow.
Or we might do something else.
Who knows.

Some of us are very tired and we will go to bed soon. Ecky is still bubbling!
