Sapan Hin. Friday May 22nd.

We had planned earlier in the week to take a stroll at Sapan Hin, but it rained.
The name somehow manages to conjure up something good.

Jamie had read that a fair of local foods and crafts would be set up over the weekend. We visited on Friday evening and again on Sunday evening.

It is an area where people from the city like to come and relax and breathe in the fresh air.
It is also an area for keep fit enthusaists, with joggers and power walkers striding out.

Jamie had written about Sapan Hin on his blog a while back.

I am sure there were more people around thatr evening, to enjoy the delights of the fair, which included music from a huge stage.

Today I will share with you the views, people relaxing and some people doing things.

Power walkers doing circuits round the pathway.

As darkness fell the temple was lit up.

Of course there were the usual fair ground rides and games.

Jamie dreams of winning a cuddly toy for his daughter - sadly he failed - of course.

Jessica tries her luck at a game. She tried the added bonus of prayer!

But failed to win anything. Shame!
Tomorrow I will share with you a selection of all sorts of things to eat and drink - some were delicious and others I would rather not try.
