Shop - lack of activity and wild weather.
The weather has been pretty darn awful - wild, wet and windy.
I knew where I wanted to be today - at home in the warm; but we had a shop to open of course.
If we had stayed at home, the day would probably have been wasted with people watching.
The doctor's medical centre opened this morning and before we left we were watching the comings and goings.
The first patient arrived very early - half past seven! She stood out in the rain for half an hour before being invited in to sit and wait.
If her ambition had been to be the first, then she made damn sure of it!
I recognised her as a local character, one with some psychological problems.
It does appear that most of the people of Dorking and district had the same yearnings as me - and did stay at home in the warm. Don't blame them.
We sold just 2 items all day.
There has been some mulling over the increased rental charges for us all.
It could be that Monika thinks she won't be able to cope with it and has been musing on pulling out.
Who knows?
She has had 2 rings stolen from a cabinet - last Saturday, so she was feeling less than positive.
Bill has felt muzzy headed all day - but hasn't been snuffling or coughing a great deal.
Time for a cosy early night, I think.
Scroll down to see us in very relaxed and happy mood in Khao Sok National Park, Thailand.
