East Preston Church and latest stock for the shop.
Did I drag Bill from the bed this morning?
Honestly, I did say if he didn't feel up to going out then he need not.
But at 7 o'clock both of us were in the car to drive down to Ford.
I felt good - the B12 injection might have kicked in quickly.
Bill felt very under par - with snuffles and croaks.
We didn't buy a great deal.
Most of my purchases came from a couple that we have chatted with before.
We met them for the first time in Canterbury just over a year ago, when we stayed at Pop's Cottage. I bought a red and black 1950s artist's palette shaped little table from them on that day.
I have a photograph of today's buys a little lower down.
We went into Littlehampton for breakfast.
We took a couple of slices of toast round to the swans afterwards - greedy beaks grabbing it from our hands.
We drove home via East Preston - towards Worthing.
I like to add a little something to the days when we go to Ford.
I had seen signs to an old church, which is a listed building, in East Preston.
I thought we would take a look.
It was not open to visitors.

Lots of grave stones of course.
I picked one which is attractive and poignant - poor parents who lost their Roy, aged just 8 years old.
If we had realised we might have searched for Stanley Holloway's grave (actor).
The graves date back at least 2oo years or more.
Where did the people live?
East Preston is now a 1930s/50s bungalow town for retired folk.
They must be very genteel, moneyed retired folk who maybe order their provisions from Fortnum and Mason! I just read that when a small convenience store opened in 1998 there was much protest.
Bill was tired when we got back - still weary this evening.
He had a bit of a doze in bed this afternoon.
I got busy and sorted out last week's Welsh purchases and also today's.
I do like what I have to offer in the shop.
I think when I first went into Pilgrims some of the older dealers wondered just what I was trying to achieve - I was happy to hear Jonathan say last week that I have the right things for the times we are living in.
I love the rolling pin for producing lattice pastry.
The hanging egg baskets are pretty old.
The Legumes bucket is new(ish).
On the right is a snake skin folder which opens to be 2 photo frames - must find some appropriate photos to go in it.
X Factor has been good - there are a couple of brilliant singers who stand out. This doesn't mean they will win of course.
The great British public are become quirky - loving gallumphing spinster aunt Ann Widdecombe in Strictly Come Dancing and the fat old man, calls himself Wagner, who cannot sing in tune or dance, in X Factor!
