Tuesday - day of rest.
Today has been gentle and we have not been anywhere.
This morning I think I caused confusion in the office of the XRay department at the local hospital. I phoned up to grumble that they had given me an appointment much too quickly.
It would be far more normal for them to hear complaints about too long a wait.
But I felt they had made a mistake giving me an appointment for an ultrasound test so soon. It is only 3 months since the CT scan and almost 3 months until I see Mr Swinn or some other member of the urology team.
The office people at X Ray couldn't or wouldn't respond to my request for a delay.
So I phoned Mr Swinn's secretary. She understood exactly what I was thinking and promised that she would get in touch with the XRay department who will send me a new date, sometime in August.
Yet again a willingness to speak up with knowledge, in a friendly and pleasant way has taken me to the place where I ought to be.
Bill and I have both spent some time on photographs - each in our own way.
Bill is sorting his own first - and has got on very well.
I am dealing with all our photos so as to have an episode ready for the blog each day which tells the story of that time.
Today there are pictures of 2 aspects of Monday May 11th.
What else? Well, not much really. Bill has given the car a once over. I have put the remaining unsold items onto EBay. I shall have to get on with some describing -maybe half a dozen tomorrow.
Maybe it is because we haven't been out but I am not feeling the great heat that others are commenting on.
Or maybe I am missing the real heat of Thailand.
And now it is going to get cooler again they say.
I would like to feel the warmth of the sun on my body again. I hope we will get the good summer that is predicted.
Now back to the photos. Tomorrow I might get my new camera and will want to go out somewhere to try it out.
