Dorking Monday
Now we really feel back to normal - but still quite tired.
Today has been a Monday in the shop.
The last Monday we were there was 5 weeks ago.
There have been customers and also time for tidying and sorting our areas. I pretty well rearranged a lot of mine.
And I washed the floor.
We have sold quite well during May in our absence.
The sun has shone today and it was good to have the door open - though the traffic noise from the road can be a bit overpowering.
There was no Monika today because she is away - we assured her last time we were in that we really could manage without her getting somebody else to cover her duty. French Julie was there - but she popped out for some time. Bill and I were in charge on our own.
We will go in again on Thursday to cover for Hilary who is doing the big antiques fair at Newark.
Today I have successfully bought a replacement camera from an EBay seller. It is a Canon A640 - an upgraded version of the one that is damaged - and it seems that this camera is difficult to get hold of now. I particularly like it because I don't want to be bothered by too many facilities and I love the complete swing out screen; the screen is a marvel for taking pictures from a low angle because I don't actually have to get down low to see the image - I can peer down at the screen placed at an angle I can see from above. I might get it on Wednesday. The seller has assured me it is wrapped and ready to be posted tomorrow. I think it is a bargain at £102 with good quality case - and that includes p&P.
And that basically is it. Please scroll down to see the posting about fun on Nai Yang Beach on May 10th.
